LEARNING AN INSTRUMENT

Our Director

about us

I can't remember a time when music hasn't played a huge role in my life.

Our director, Seth Benjamin (Simmons), has been a professional musician in some capacity for the last 15 years. Growing up in the church gave him an early chance to fall in love with music. After forming his first band at the age of 13, he never looked back. He studied music business at Anderson University before leaving early for an opportunity to pursue his dream of traveling and performing live. As a touring musician and a multi-instrumentalist, he was privileged to play different roles in various music groups. He is an accomplished songwriter, producer, and artist and continues to create music with the hopes of inspiring others.

Seth has long had the desire to begin investing in the next generation of young musicians. He hopes to give them the same opportunity he has had to experience the great joy that music can bring to the lives of those who hear it and those who create it. You would be hard pressed to find someone who approaches their craft with the same passion and commitment that he does.

He can’t wait to see that love of music spark in the eyes of your student. “It never gets old.”
